The film director is “the craftsman of craftsmen”, who tries to unite the seven great arts and together with them many other artistic forms, making them appear as one, only one art. Many artistic forms that come together with great balance and respect, to start a wonderful dance, and to be able to give life to a filmic “existence”.
And in this way we can touch and open our minds, our hearts, thus vibrating the chords of our conscience to leave something deep. In reality, as we watch a movie, we become passengers and no longer spectators, and we board a wonderful journey that the director has created. And so the circle is completed giving a sense of existence to the film, because art exists for this, it exists for others.
In short, we must be like a painter of the soul who knows very well all his instruments. In this way the director, like the painter, can start the magic of creating his own painting, creating his film thanks to the infinite colours and nuances offered by the human condition and existence. In short, it means knowing and discovering in depth how it works the greatest show of all, called “Life”.
